Tegan, Stalybridge

I like the idea of more colour, nature and creative things for young people on the high street.

Old shops could be changed into toy shops, messy play areas or fun craft centres.

Or what if we turned abandoned shops into hangouts for teenagers, where there could be things like musical instruments, seats and vending machines?

We could paint nature-related art work on the side of buildings to show the beauty of nature, apply more colour to the high street and fill the blank spaces on the empty walls!

There’s a large open space on my high street... a statue would be too plain, but maybe we could add some art on the ground, like 'Stalybridge' written in a cool swirly font.

And we could create Rainbow crossings! They'd offer a safe way to cross the road while being very colourful, too.
